When I am passionate about something it is hard to pull me away from it and I love programming, so giving my all to every project is not hard for me. My motto is to work diligently so that my clients won’t have to. I make sure to do whatever it takes, even if that means coding through all hours of the night, to get done what needs to be done.
I believe that many of today's websites are too flashy and can often be confusing to navigate. I focus on simplicity when designing a website so that the client’s information is at the center of attention and pleasing to read. I also recognize the time constraint that business owners are under and will do my best to make sure my work gets done promptly.
I love learning all kinds of new information whether that’s a new language to increase my repertoire, a new technique to improve my previous skills, or even a client’s story to find out where they come from. Growth for my clients is also important to me. My goal with each project is to make sure my clients are happy, not just satisfied, with my work so they can pursue growing themselves.
Bible Topics is an Alexa Skill that allows the user to request a topic and then returns a relevant Bible Verse to them. It keeps track of user upvotes and downvotes to make sure that it returns only the most enjoyed/relevant bible verses for specific topics and will never return a disliked/irrelevant verse to the user again for that topic. It also allows for a user to request a specific verse or passage from the Bible.
The Rational Christian was a website that I did for a client that already had an exisiting website, but he wasn't a fan of the look so I gave it a new design and better functionality to best suit his needs.
Blue Ridge Belle is a blog that I wrote for my girlfriend while she studied abroad in Spain. She said she needed an easy way to share her experiences in Spain with her friends and family back home so I created a Django application that allows here to upload pictures and caption those pictures in blog formatting.
